What platform does NOTIP use for online classes?

A: All online classes are conducted through the NOTIP LMS, with Google Meet used for video conferencing during synchronous sessions. This system ensures real-time interaction between trainees and instructors while providing access to course materials, video lectures, and assessments.

What are the technical requirements for joining online classes?

A:
To ensure a smooth online learning experience, trainees must have:

  • A stable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps recommended)

  • A desktop or laptop computer with working camera and microphone

  • An active Google account

  • The latest version of Google Chrome browser installed

  • A quiet, well-lit, and distraction-free environment during sessions

How do I join my online class?

  2. Access your class link provided by the instructor.

  3. Join the scheduled Google Meet session on time.

  4. Keep your camera ON throughout the session.

  5. Follow all NOTIP House Rules for Distance Learning at all times.

A:
To maintain professionalism and effective learning, all trainees must observe the following:

  1. Join on time and use your real full name as your display name.

  2. Keep your camera ON and microphone OFF unless called by the instructor.

  3. Wear proper attire (no sleeveless shirts, caps, or inappropriate clothing).

  4. Stay in a quiet and well-lit area with a neutral background.

  5. No recording, screenshots, or sharing of class content without permission.

  6. Show respectful conduct and communication at all times.

  7. Attendance and participation are strictly monitored.

How will my attendance be verified?

A: Attendance is verified through:

  • Google Meet participation logs (entry and exit time)

  • Instructor roll calls and random checks

  • LMS activity monitoring for submitted quizzes and assignments

Trainees who fail to attend the required synchronous and asynchronous sessions may not be issued a Certificate of Completion.

What should I do if I experience technical issues during class?

A:
If you encounter internet or device problems:

  1. Notify your instructor immediately through chat or SMS.

  2. Take a screenshot of the issue if possible.

  3. Send an email to notip.blendedlearning@gmail.com detailing the problem.

  4. Rejoin the session as soon as your connection is restored.

Repeated technical disruptions may affect attendance, so trainees are encouraged to test their setup before each class.

A: After successfully completing all online modules, assessments, and practical components (if applicable), trainees will receive:

  • A digital copy of the Certificate of Completion via the NOTIP LMS; and
